The young musician known as Romare wears his inspiration on his sleeve – in fact, he takes his very name from it. During his studies he came across the work of Romare Bearden and the African American’s collaged, cut’n’paste artworks inspired the young musician to apply a similar technique to music – an approach that was hugely fruitful, and remains central to his work today. Romare’s debut album 'Projections' was released to critical acclaim in the broadsheets, and was chosen as DJ Mag’s album of the year. Having toured the world Romare has built a strong reputation as a live performer and his DJ skills have seen his sets develop a cult following. His new album 'Love Songs Part 2' has taken his production to new levels and his full live band are touring worldwide.
